- The class is modeled after the structure of real news organizations
- You write articles and create video and digital content each week, covering campus and community stories
- You work alongside classmates and editors to improve as reporters
- You learn reporting skills like writing, broadcasting, interviewing, editing, and storytelling
- Faculty provide critique and mentorship
- You’ll have opportunities to cover performances, sporting events, breaking news, and other exciting stories
- You’ll participate in weekly trainings and pitch meetings
